Jason moved from Dayton, OH to Orlando, FL in January of 2004. Jason then sang baritone with the Clermont Chapter called Vocal Express and served as Webmaster, Chapter Secretary, and V.P. of Young Men in Harmony. Jason also sang and performed Tenor with two quartets during his 3 years in Florida: Clermont Chord-Testing company and Four Example. While in Florida Jason pursued and received a Masters Degree in Computer Information Systems.
In 2006 Jason met his wife to be Jessica and moved to Virginia in January of 2007. Jason joined a the James River Chapter chorus Soundworks and has had a wonderful time ever since, with 3 consecutive MAD Southern Division championships under their belt. Brian has been performing and singing all his life. Vocalizing around the home as a toddler to Country Music classics such as “Branded Man” and “Wayward Wind”, he quickly turned to the stage when in second grade he performed in the Detroit Michigan Moving Company Theatre Group’s production of “Oliver”. Having felt the glow of the spotlights and experiencing the smell of greasepaint, the stage was set to be a lifelong vocalist. Throughout high school and college he performed in theatre and a cappella groups, specializing in solo work and madrigal singing. Taking a “brief” layoff from his musical ambitions, he served 20 years in the US Navy and retired as a Naval Senior Chief.
Just prior to retirement he rekindled his musical talents. While living on the Eastern Shore of VA in 1999, he joined the Eastern Shore Madrigal Singers and shortly thereafter he became a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society singing with the Salisbury, Md. Peninsullaires Barbershop Chorus.
Since then, he has competed on the International stage as a member of the Alexandria Harmonizers and has been a member of three quartets, One More Song, First Impression and now Full Spectrum.
Brian is an IT Program/Project Manager and is currently pursuing a DSc. in Information Sciences and Communications.
As the Full Spectrum Lead, he tells others that “he finds the unique blend of Full Spectrum a joy to sing with” He looks forward to the continued growth of the quartet and the unleashing of the limitless talents of the Full Spectrum quartet members.
Jamie's passion for singing began in his early years with choirs, musical theater, and ensembles. His love of the Barbershop-style of singing started with his high school group, "The Crazy Eights", where he sang both Tenor and Bass. Jamie has performed as Harold Hill in The Music Man, Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and the Artful Dodger in Oliver. At the University of Michigan he sang and danced with "The Amazin' Blues", and owned his own singing telegram business, taking his showmanship door to door for celebrations and smiles.
Professionally, Jamie is the developer of The ColorPrint Self-Awareness System and the owner of a Wellness Consulting company. He has discovered the healing power of singing and sound and has invented special techniques for clients to use as part of the process of achieving magnificent health.
On singing Bass with Full Spectrum, Jamie says, "I love performing with these three guys. We create a wonderful sound and have a lot of fun. This is the best quartet experience I've ever had.
